IMHO, TPG can watch millions of strategic investment dollars potentially go down the drain, or get more involved (i.e launch a takeover). A takeover of Covata by TPG (particularly at these pathetic levels) would amount to mere petty cash for a company the size of TPG.
I am confident TPG's management would have the necessary skills and clout to turn Covata's fortunes around and score a few contracts.
