Croasian, I know a lot of crew in the industry and many are suffering big time. I'm lucky I'm still in the industry, but it's bleak, very bleak.
With the recent low oil prices, those US shale drillers have become very efficient at horizontal drilling and are now making money @ $50 per barrel, and will do for some time. Technological Advances will even make it even cheaper. There is a lot of shale out there! Not to mention all the conventional Middle East oil plays. Increased Energy efficiencies too are a consideration.
The climate change story is real, and mankind needs to change and very soon, before we hit the tipping scale of no return.
As I said earlier, I was a large holder of MRM, some 1.2 mil shares. I literally bet my whole farm on it, fully mortgaged to buy at .23- .25 cents to average down.
I sold most at between .42 -.47 and sold my last parcel at .30
Glad I did, it's set me up for life. I don't feel the same this time it's back at .23
So sad they sold Dampier supply base, now just vessels which become a liability over time.
Good luck to all, my partner still holds stock. She didn't listen when I said sell
