Austal says strong opportunities ahead

Shipbuilder Austal is pursuing its strongest-ever pipeline of potential work, including significant contracts in Australia.
Austal, which has shipyards in the US, Australia and the Philippines, says it is in the midst of bidding for multi-billion-dollar defence and commercial vessel opportunities.
The new Trump administration in the US is looking to expand the number of vessels in the US Navy, which will give Austal the opportunity to extend its current defence contracts beyond 2021.
