Announcement - Shareholder Purchase Plan - Shortfall Interest
As you are aware the current Shareholder Purchase Plan closes this Friday 30th March 2007 at 5 p.m.
Accordingly any shortfall will be placed by the Company early next week.
Due to the large number of inquiries in regards to the availability of a greater amount of shares in the Share
Purchase Plan than the maximum amount permitted of $5000, the Company wishes to advise that any parties
who are interested in taking up additional shares in the company in excess of the $5000 per shareholder limit
should advise the Company of their interest in doing so and the amount they would be interested in taking up,
    as soon as possible.
Please be advised that any shares placed pursuant to any shortfall will also qualify for the Bonus Options
Issue. As previously announced the Record Date for the Bonus Options Issue is Friday 13th April 2007, after
which time the Bonus Options will be issued to all shareholders in respect of their registered shareholdings in
the Company as at the close of business on Thursday 5th April 2007.
The Bonus Options will be free and will be issued for nil consideration and shareholders are not required to
take any action in order to accept and be issued with their Entitlement of Options. The Bonus Options will be
issued on the basis of one (1) Option for every two (2) Shares held as at the new Record Date.
The purpose of the Bonus Issue is to reward all shareholders for supporting the Company and to allow further
Shareholder participation in the future of the Company. The Company will make application to the ASX for
official quotation of the Bonus Options and will lodge a prospectus with ASIC which shall be distributed to
    shareholders at that time.
A Share Purchase Plan Application form has been attached herewith for the purposes of any shareholders
interested in taking up any shortfall in the Offer, and an Application form is also available on the Company’s
    website at www.safetymed.com.au.
    Yours faithfully,
    John Riemelmoser
    Managing Director
