No worries, Can probably spill entire beans in this post. I am still inexperienced and just starting to find my feet. To illustrate, managed to lose money in the last couple of months on both BSG and OXR - would have to be trying to lose money to have managed that, really.
Still think BSG may prove a good thing, but kind of satisfied to be out of OXR - unnerved by the Indonesian location of Agincourt resource and by Hegarty coming on like a mad under 15's coach.
Bought too much EAR at 33 and have been watching them bouncing between 25 and 31 - great management and geologist, but will have to wait a year I think to see whether at its prospects really are -should have paid more attention to where they are in their exploration cycle but... took my choice and not concerned with being stuck - at least gold and nickel are good minerals to specc on and the director keeps buying them. May be tempted to skulk off and put it on NMS (below) but haven't fully considered it - tend to be a bit impulsive too.
Bought some CQT - entered too high, but think they should come good.
First major buy was a lot of ZFX last year and very happy with that - that was before starting to read share forums! Took a while to understand the culture. Amazing how slanderous it gets and the malice, ramping and one-lining self-obsessives get old fast.
My reasoning is pretty sound, but have to develop some better discipline - late leap on CQT a classic - basic patience to wait for a bit of a re-trace is a new concept to me...
Bought quite a few NMS recently and believe that will prove a good thing over the next 12 months. Wouldn't mind some more. Their strategy should unfold progressively, so still time for that.
Bought some ARR as well - but late also, and a bit dirty, having considered it quite a bit earlier.
Was in and out of PGL making a quid, but early in the piece - did not jag the great leap and haven't ventured back in. Might do.
Your PPP looks interesting, but I tend to be fully committed, and to keep for 12 months (CGT) unless I get the jitters and take a loss to get on something else. Also, find it hard to guage where oil explorers are really at.
On the topic of oil, BPT also looks like it should improve, but when I think that, I start wondering why the market doesn't think it, too - then I recall ARR and PGL....
Anyway, that's about the extent of it.
What I do like about shares is the unlimited form guide you get, being able to change horse in mid-race and having them pass the winning post any number of times and keep going!
cheers and good luck.
