Agree that Worley has likely lost independent here, other than the Board reportedly didn't engage at a higher offfer. Tactically they are in a poor position given the recent result and the rebuffed offer.
Make no mistake; the board is gone.
There will now be a de facto engagement between the company's institutional owners and Dar Group.
The board's role in this exchange will be confined to that of conveying messages from one to the other.
