Not crazy at all.
I was loaded up heavily into North (NBH) many years back well before iron ore became fashionable. Problem was it was too much of a compelling bargain. Rio took it out before the start of the boom after a small tussle with Anglo. Even at the time I didn't think I was being properly compensated.
Agree that Worley has likely lost independent here, other than the Board reportedly didn't engage at a higher offfer. Tactically they are in a poor position given the recent result and the rebuffed offer.
