Dear fellow shareholders, let me start by apologising for being wrong in my last posting. With respect to my comments about "rusting pipes lying on the ground" at the Philippines LNG Hub , I have been reliably informed by my sources that 1 the gas pipelines have been connected at the hub 2 the pipes are stainless steel and cannot rust 3 the are on concrete base foundations 4 the gaps in the pipeline is where it goes underground for road access ,so I stand corrected.
That aside, currently , the "legal hearing" only pertains to the right to operate a interconnector line, it is not involved with the collection of landowner permissions for the interconnector placement. the hearing was cancelled due to the requirement of it needing to be advertise in appropriate news publications for a period of approx. 2 weeks before the hearing. By the time it was received and the booking for the hearing was allocated there was insufficient time, so it will now be publicated and the hearing reset in a couple of weeks approximately. What everyone wants to know is" how are the permissions going" It must be restated this is up to the National Energy Grid Corporation not EWC although they are obviously trying their best . Some problems have involved ,who actually owns some plots, currently 70 out of the 80 required have been signed off and everything is moving forward all be it very frustrating to all concerned. Doc.
