    Greenleaf,

I know next to nothing about NAL's product, but if NAL possesses a viable and marketable and readily available needle-free delivery system then it would certainly affect OMI's market in the developed nations.

These countries would also favour the lack of waste generated by such a system as opposed to the plastic single-use syringes.

And as a US distributorship deal is generally expected to be a major milestone in the fortunes of OMI, you may well have a point.

Keeping in mind that there are other such single-use syringes being developed and patented across the planet, OMI's product may face stiff competetion from better designed products.

Anyway, the huge markets for cheap, safe, reliable, single use syringes are in Asia and Africa where HIV, Hep C and rapidly increasing drug abuse are ravaging the populations and where high volume sales fuelled by government distribution programs can make up for the lack of a good margin.

Unless, of course, NAL's needle-free system is also very cheap, intuitive to use and does not require consumables - for example batteries or compressed air capsules - which the Third World finds nigh impossible to maintain, even in their hospitals.

Nevertheless, I'm betting on a US distribution deal being announced by OMI before the end of April.

    Just a hunch.
