Going along with the yards statement you made it is probably also important to have water troughs not too far apart on the Stations but all comes down to bang for buck , and the insurance factor some improvements can provide which is hard to put a monetary value on ie ponds , fire breaks , breeding for hardiness as against feed conversion efficiency , supplementary feed in storage even airstrip availability .
Similar to investing ie its not only the return on investment , but also getting your investment returned .
