Using the above example, you could also split the trade over two stops if you don't want to go all in on the day trade option — sell half on the day trade stop and the other half on the swing trade stop, if the day trade goes against you, you're still in the swing trade.
The formula:
shares = 2 x Risk / (2 x Price - stop1 - stop2) or 41666 = 2 x 500 / (2 x 0.073 - 0.056 - 0.066)
