Personally I think the taxation teatment should be scaled back as most of the companies concerned have reached critical mass and are now self sustaining vehicles. The fair thing would be to do it over a number of years and I think 3 is probably the fairest. Now one thing I would like to see discussed is the new carbon trading shemes being proposed and how companies like Timbercorp will benefit form carbon credits. This surely is another revenue stream for them. Any other comments?
