methinx the AGM on the 22nd might provide some impetus to the price. admittedly, its been a boring ride so far (over the last few weeks, there is 'sideways' and then there is AWB).

my optimism about AWB, however, is only increasing:
1. the rain has been good so far this year => better yields, which probably hasn't been factored into the price
2. due to the corn boom, there is a real possibility of acreage switching away from wheat in the US => bullish for wheat prices
3. huge demand from india later on this year due to drought and lower than expected production

i could be wrong of course!

btw - thanks for the heads-up on APG. interesting action today.
