Interesting volume spike at the end of the day yesterday....biggest volume day for about 6 weeks and volume has been trending up for the past couple of weeks. VHT just refuses to drop back to the rights issue price. I only had around 22,000 shares at the time of the trading halt but liked the story so jumped at the opportunity to grab another 30,000 shares via the rights issue (obviously some didn't take up their rights). I suspect like others that once a bit of churn is finished or an announcement comes out, we'll be back into the 80's again.
Hi Crusader69, just to clear up a point, then tech involved does not detect breast cancer, but measures breast density and is far more accurate at this than the best radiologists. Increased breast density greatly increases the risk that early breast cancers are missed by radiologists and warns the radiologist of this potential and these women, if there are any doubts, are advised to seek additional screening methods such as CT or ultrasound. Given the litigious environment we now live in, esp. the US, this tech (which has no equal at present), would appear to eventually become mandatory as part of the tech of any breast screening clinic, and given the recent changes in legislation the US is bringing in as regards this area, then this even strengthens the case for this tech being adopted.
Any form of capital raising for product rollout rather than development, is attractive to me, and I suspect the share price will be much much higher 12 months from now. The tech would not appear to impinge on any other radiology developers revenue, but any of these large health companies may take a look at it if the rollout goes as we hope, and look to snap it up to add to its product sweep. As some have mentioned...the next NAN or PME....,
