Well, I've been in Optiscan since 1998 when hopes were high and the company had Australia's current chief scientist as as Board member. He along with six others formed the board in 2002, such were the hopes fifteen years ago. The share price was on a roll as Optiscan kept winning legal cases regarding their patent rights. But unfortunately it was not to last. The doldrums set in and we have been here for many years now.

But a new board and new shareholders are seemingly very confident and this is a big plus. I must agree with fp944 that until sales revenues are generated ("commercialising the product") then there won't be the wished for momentum in the s.p.

I must admit I was a little dismayed in the Board's announcement on 22/11/2016 when outlining the basis of their "sales generation" they listed:
    1. the existing customer base.
    2. sales leads and enquiries.
    3. pursuing established distribution channels.
    4. developing new sales channels and direct sales.

Gee, I thought that was sales and marketing 101, not some go-getum approach for Optiscan in 2017.

Still, I sit on the sidelines and try and keep an open mind.
