I have no doubt she planned to prop up the stock. Several people mentioned that as JHL biggest fear was the HIL stock "going to zero" after the merger or if merger was called off.
It wont last forever and will only buy time. As soon as everyone is back from vacation next week we will see what happens. Unfortunately for everyone, it takes very little cash to prop it up if you care.
