BUT it also gets more complex. If you were "living" in countryB, then very likely the Bto (Country B tax office) will also want a slice of your income as well. If you are resident in Aus then ALL your income from Aus and other countries counts towards your taxable income. at least here, the ato lets you claim back any tax paid to B on foreign income.
Traderp really needs to consult 2 accountants, one here in Aus and another where he/they were living.
