I rang the ATO and they could not give me a direct answer , I think they dont know
One problem with ringing the ATO on behalf of another person is that they won't give you an answer on privacy grounds.
Perhaps if your wife rings herself with the appropriate information she will get better info.
From my experience sometimes if the person you ring is unhelpful, ringing back a minute later might connect you with a more helpful person.
