Six r/l cameras were on trial on a highway in Scottsdale Arizona for 9 months the results were, the average speed was reduced by 15km/h ,side swipe crashes fell 58% side swipe injuries fell by 70%, which equated to an estimated cost saving of $13.5 mill in medical ,lost wages, and productivity costs. Arizona,s governor has ordered a review to introduce them state wide .
