A review of battery grade graphite demand forecasts to 2025 indicates that spherical graphite demand could grow to in excess of 1Mtpa of flake graphite precursor from the current low base of approximately 100,000t. Should this growth eventuate, the Mahenge graphite project is ideally positioned for capacity increases.
