I agree BC but this forum only pickups a fraction of the total shareholders. Plus, anything announced by the company has to be truly accurate/not just opinions, or the ASX gets pretty tough on them. IMO, ASX announcements have a far higher degree of accuracy that much of the mung bean thought bubbles published in the main stream.
Small caps need news and this development is good news.

A UWA Research group involving Australian Vanadium Limited (AVL) is looking to get into the VRB, while stating the electrolyte is a significant cost:
"Vanadium electrolyte makes up 30 per cent of the overall capital cost of the battery and a lot of that is due to transport," (Marek Sierakowski). Sierakowski is researching the possibility of manufacturing the (electrolyte) in Australia.
"So if we can produce that in Australia from local vanadium then we're really value adding." (Marek Sierakowski).
You did make a very salient point, VRBs don't explode.
