Yawns. They drilled duds by the smell of it.
•========•
What makes you say that?
First three holes weren't amazing, but they had several meters of mineralisation with a middle VTEM signature. The next three had poor mineralisation with a weak VTEM signature. Now they're drilling the strongest VTEM signature at the current location.
What makes you think it's a dud?
Handheld XRF doesn't replace a good geologist. Economic mineralization of the current targets of 5-10% (hopefully more) zinc and copper in the core should show up to the eye quite clearly. With this VMS deposit XRF in the field will only be confirmation of what can be seen by eye. Perhaps XRF could also tell ratios and give ideas for the next hole by providing levels of gange minerals that may not be visible, yet are very telling to the nearby association of (or lack of) economic mineralisation. XRF in the field is only one small tool, albeit a useful one.
What makes you think this current Sweden site is a dud?
