That truck in AKK's picture looks to me like a 200 Bbl crude tanker carrier. I would caution against making an estimate of how many Bbls have been lifted so far.
While the announcement did say (amongst other things) that it was the first cargo sold, what you don't know is what capacity tank storage for crude is on site. Typical (small) modular systems have tanks of 300 or 400 Bbls each. You could of course "park" tankers but I'm guessing that wouldn't be all that economical or may even violate field safety.
Since 2 more wells are expected to flow oil, AKK needs to have a solution in place for development. Trucking 200 Bbls at a time wont be the cheapest option - but they note they have completed haulage and refining sales agreements ... Florence to Commerce City is about 120 mi.
Note that Suncor operates Colorado’s only crude oil refinery (98,000 bopd). Also building a crude oil pipeline, known as the Rocky Mountain Pipeline, a 102-mile line transporting crude oil to Suncor’s Commerce City refinery from as far as Cheyenne, Wyoming. This now extends to the hub in Guernsey, Wyoming.
