Well thats also not unusual, a blank cheque book, broker and insto support to expand by acquisition and a crazy MD. Happens all the time. The SHI business seems a good one, better than Garbage which is rubbish. Rumours are SHI is sold for $12m - not really worth selling at that price, it would be better to keep the $2m profits a year and running it as a stand alone wholesaler. Online retailers not that popular at the moment, Kogan is doing well putting out great results and they still go down. Shame, at some point these guys will all get it right, shop leases and wages are a costly joke in Oz and make it near impossible to be profitable in a traditional retail shopfront. People also prefer to buy online its far easier - just need to get the stock composition right and get the costs under control so there is a margin. Can SRF do this - $250m in sales is a lot.
