He means that the principals who sold out at $5 during the recent placement of escrowed stock didn't think it was worth much more.
Of course, their reasons for selling could be numerous (diversification and profit taking from IPO price levels being the most likely reasons), and every one of those shares was also bought by someone who obviously thinks it is worth much more than that.
