Donald Trump has announced that he will ban the Saudi oil from America and create “complete American energy independence.”
The Saudis are definitely in panic mode after this announcement.
If you remember, throughout his whole campaign, Trump constantly said that he will secure U.S. energy independence from “our foes and the oil cartels,” and the way things are going, this will surely happen. The Saudi influence in America will be finished!
The Saudi oil minister Khalid Al-Falih warned Trump that banning Saudi oil could “seriously damage” the U.S. economy. “At his heart President-elect Trump will see the benefits and I think the oil industry will also be advising him accordingly that blocking trade in any product is not healthy,” Saudi Energy Minister and Aramco chairman Khalid Al-Falih told the Financial Times.
However, these threats are just empty words. Reality speaks otherwise.
When it comes to oil production in 2016, the U.S. is right behind Saudi Arabia. In other words, there is no need for America to import Saudi oil. In addition, major oil and gas deposits were discovered in Texas and this discovery will definitely help America towards complete energy independence.
As you can see, Trump’s plans for complete energy independence are achievable and will be a major boost to the U.S. economy. This will create many jobs and bring back the working class in America!
The only economy that will be “seriously damaged” is the Saudi one.
