Woolies customer service is currently on the "rise", I believe it suffered for a while, but they certainly have cranked it all up again.......it's certainly what they HAD to do and room still exists to further improve it.
The MAIN skill anyone seeking to develop a "better customer experience" needs to possess, is to instill in their staff, the need for a real measure of "empathy" with the customer. ie, "what does my customer want". Do that one thing and you're ahead of the bulk of the field from day one!
Masters, as an example, never took a single hour, of a single day, to base the business they wanted to build, around what their customers wanted....sounds weird, but it was sadly true!
