    Yes, my new answer is "I have no idea". And I'm showing my ignorance here.

    But a quick google says they perform well in a robust economy and during periods of strong economic growth when the expected defaults by issuers are low.

    Can't forget though that the market is 6 to 12 months forward looking.....except when it's reacting to massive policy shift?
