Legal stuff and committees are real uncertainties because you can rarely guess how much politics is in the final outcome.
At best the uncertainty is a buying opportunity.
New Hope has a few things in its favour: An experienced management operating an efficient complete package from mining, sales, community relations and rehabilitation.
Extra production from Bengalla is so well timed at current prices.
There is a definite mindset change too that eliminating coal from electricity DOES involve risk.
Agree Psalty; could be a good outcome.
