Thank you Trees, change the perception, that is a great idea. Win and loss do make it sound like a competition (and a scary one of me vs market). Income and cost trade definitely have a lot less impact than WIN LOSS .

And thank you Mike, after reading that link, my plan if you could call it one was too simplistic (with essentially just a target zone to sell at or % gain, and a stoploss). I hadnt considered finer details, even basic things like number of open positions at any one time...
I'll look into the planning and calculator, especially if it makes objectives more clear cut, thank you
