Do you remember what happened to grain prices during the la nina of 2011? But, yeh I have read that its good for growing conditions. however, causes significant drought in the US - which may be bad for crops. We may also see floods in Australia. i guess that could be good for wheat prices.
What do you think will happen when la nina hits? I think the short is the best trade for now. although wheat is due for a bounce.
The risk is a bullish US dollar. So any pop to the upside won't be sustainable. 440 would be my target.
