definitely a good a buying opportunity. From a strategic point of view TCCC would be crazy to negotiate a deal that would too hard on CCL as they ultimately hurt themselves through their 30% ownership stake. CCL are also working with TCCC in Indonesia and if there is going to be any significant growth from anywhere in the world it will be from places like Indonesia and not necessarily from Australia. It makes sense that they should assist each other and work together on the new model going forward.
I believe that the arguments that brokers have been pushing for why this stock is in structural decline are overblown and incorrect. They severely underprice the value of the brand the distribution network that CCL have.
