CEO - All very interesting but difficult to answer your question.
SFR are clearly about increasing the resource they can process. They have spent considerable $'s to build what they have and clearly want to add as many years they can.
The obvious focus is on De Grussa and extending that as far as they can by increasing the JORC reserve.
Over the last couple of years most of the noise has been about Monty (TLM). The maiden mineral resource estimate is 1.05Mt at 9.4% Cu, 1.6g/t Au for 99,000t of contained copper and 55,000oz of contained gold. Some pretty big numbers so for me this is the focus - it helps it is just down the road so clearly 1st cab off the rank IMO.
There is also the Springfield joint venture with TLM which again looks very promising.
I think it is pretty smart of SFR to be increasing its land holding as aggressively as it can around the Yerrida basin as unlike most other players they have the money to aggressively explore and clearly have a great understanding of the region. They don't have to worry about going to the market every 6 months to do a cap raise to drill half a dozen holes. Will it surpass De Grussa & Monty? - who knows - but it always helps to go elephant hunting where the elephants are. I would not be too upset to be a GTE holder (I am not) if you are happy with the obvious risk that goes with exploring.
I have very few stocks now due to my concern with the world markets and have turned into a bit of a trader on SFR - because it moves around a hell of a lot - which has proved successful. In normal times (what ever that is) I would have SFR as a buy at these prices because I think it's a real beauty - both in what it has now and what it could have in the future.
