I rekon you are correct ......

if you chk what occurred in the UK ........

the incumbent (muppets) initially competed on price ........ditto Oz .....

stage 2 was "we have xxx / yyyy brands" .........ditto Oz .....

stage 3 was "we have coffee / fresh bread" ..................

Aldi responded (abty 18 months ago) with sub leasing to fresh bakeries / fresh coffee joints at selected sites ...........

im still amazed at the lack of foresight by WOW management .........................why not "highlight" your convience / opening hours / fresh produce/ fresh bread / fresh coffee ..................rather than slit your own throats by cutting prices ..................

its almost like they want to die !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
