I saw Peter Botten speak today at a QUPEX luncheon. What an impressive and understated fellow. Longest serving Aust CEO and one of 2 Aussie CEOs to make the global list for top performing CEO's.
Two main areas that will give this company uplift are P'nyang and Antelope. Big emphasis on brownfield (where OSH sits) developments vs greenfield (New LNG infrastructure). They're making great profits at current prices. Future LNG markets going away from fixed contacts to spot market pricing which will make it hard for funding on new LNG projects. Not the case for OSH.
He also stated openly some of the issues about doing business in PNG but his record speaks for itself. There is a big crunch coming in conventional oil and gas due to the lack of expenditure across the industry over the last 3 years (maybe late 2017?2018? who knows but it is coming).
What a great company to have exposure to such uplift.
