Investment funds even smaller boutique ones usually have a risk criteria before investing in stocks , ones of these criteria is market cap. For instance large super funds only invest in asx300 stocks as an example.
I do know that funds have $50M , $100M or other mrkt cap minimums prior to buying. This is why a sustained rise like in RAP can occur because the funds pick up the buying demand as price moves higher.
So keeping these funds engaged can mean that at certain triggers in share price can initiate fresh demand
