Monsoon is located about mid way between Baloo, oxide gold deposit 4 km to the north and nanook, palaeochannel gold deposit 6 km to the south. Together they ar shaping up as gold corridor. At nanook, the company had announced an initial mineral resource of 84k oz of gold. The resource estimate was based on 821 aircore drill holes and 12 rc drill holes.
