He retires on 22 December.
The company is now looking for a replacement.
I'm sorry to see him depart because of his experience and knowledge and also because the company is on the cusp of expansion. It is a big surprise too as he was about to be rewarded (after a very quiet period after the 2nd jv with NST early last year) with being involved with some very interesting exploration. He did the hard work to find these new ventures too.
I won't try to speculate why he has decided to depart except to say 'something else bigger and better'?
