The way this is worded it makes it sound as though Linc have admitted they were responsible for contamination and have given the government $3.6 to start work cleaning up.

The $3.6 million will in fact be the security deposit paid by Linc at the beginning of the project that will have been seized by the government. It would be poetic justice if they have to pay it back to Linc if the court case does not go the way they want.

Bloody big difference but this government never lets the truth get in the way of getting what they want.

They say they are going to spend that money on monitoring the water in the area.
Bet they dont give the public the results from those tests
