I dont know why they want to build a plant. There are plenty of established haul roads in the area, some active, some not. I was up that way a couple of months back. I would have toll treated initially to raise cash.
Unless..... after the years of litigation following our last toll treatment agreement nobody wants to touch us.
I'm loath to big capital expenditure for something that may not have a long life.
Look at our failed Kookynie heap leach project....... the time taken and infrastructure costs. A few of us could have had that producing within 4-5 months from start, just building a series of earth-walled and plastic lined dams with a mobile "stacker" to heap the ore in and above them, and fitting sprinkler systems.
My experience comes from working with/for guys who done these things on a shoe string and made money out of them. We did mainly dam leach, but heap leach is just a dam with the ore piled up extra high and soaked by sprinklers.
So dunno.
Would be nice to have something happen so I could get some of my money back. lol.
