I could be wrong as I'm fairly new too but I'll give it a shot.

as I understand it there have been 5MM performance shares given to employees (performance shares can't be sold in this instance). After reaching milestone 1 those 5MM shares have been converted to normal shares and given to the employees.

The reason we've seen a large drop in the SP is because those employees have sold a chunk of their shares as they've vested.

Long term, probably means nothing, short term you might see a bunch of dips as these guys sell off their hard earnt shares.
