The real question is, why was KBL paying for advertising when they must have known they were so close to the line. I wouldn't dream of suggesting they might have been insolvent when they were pushing the stock. I'm waiting with great anticipation for the final audit.
I might appear to appear company was in need of constant access to capital markets to fun it's administration. Especially in the end when a 3b was issued every day. No point in issuing stock if no one is there to pick it up. So advertising brings in the buyers to soak up the constant capital raising which keeps the company afloat.
That's the most bizarre aspect, the huge volume before trading was suspended. There is even a becoming a substantial notice just before the trading halt.
Big returns come with big risk. But maybe KBL might have been better off putting that advertising expense (speculation) toward their debt. Even if it meant calling in the administrators a few 3bs earlier.
Good luck on the next one.
I bought IVR today, obviously haven't learnt my lesson. Although I haven't seen HC flogging it so it does have that going for it.
