I agree I cant see woolies turning things around.
At least Alan Joyce had low fuel prices to help him.
Even with woolies expanding into financial services insurance phones etc etc it is hard for them with all the competition and low margins.
We shop at woolies and have noticed a big increase discounting - lots of 1/2 price signs
I think the best option would be a "takeover" by Walmart or similar
