Nomination for Company Director

I am seeking your support to be elected as a Company Director of Advanced Braking Technology at the next company AGM. As you may know, under the ASX Listing regulations, one third of the company's Directors must stand for re-election at each AGM.  I believe that I can add great value to the company in terms of its strategy, marketing, product development and overall performance. I have been working in the area of innovation management, product design and research and development for over 20 years and am able to bring a high level of experience to this company.  

My background is in mechanical engineering in which I completed a Diploma in 1985 and a Degree from the University of Western Australia in 1990. I have followed these engineering qualifications with a Diploma in Technology Management from Deakin University and a Masters Degree in Business Admin (MBA) from Cranfield University in the UK.  The Cranfield MBA was recently ranked 2nd in the UK in Forbes Magazine ranking of The Best International MBAs. In addition the MBA is ranked 9th in the UK, 19th in Europe and 57th in the world in the Financial Times 2016 ranking of full-time MBA programmes. Most recently I have completed the Company Directors course run by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Completing these qualifications has given me the skills and knowledge required to manage the operations of  a technology company.

In addition to completing the above qualifications I have been running an engineering design consulting firm for the last 18 years. During this time I have helped a large number of clients develop new engineering based products in industries including mining, oil and gas, defence, marine and medical products. I have been following the progress of Advanced Braking for a number of years and have a good understanding of the company, the industry and the market for the company's products.

I believe that I would be a solid and reliable Company Director and will ensure that the company is run with the best interests of the shareholders in mind at all times. My qualifications in business management have given me skills in Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Law which will be applied to the ongoing operation of the company.
