My question is, if contamination really did occurred years before, then where was the State Government who were the monitors of the project through their various departments?

If it is proven, that Linc have caused environmental damage, then it is as bad an indictment upon the State Government as it is upon Linc.

I think the Government and the Greens are hoping that there will be no challenge in court as it could get really nasty for them as well.
