Would seem Kleenex has captured the "Aussie" space and placed themselves in that market with the current round of tissue advertisements featuring Barry Hall. Very much branding as being Australian.
Personally it comes across to me as false advertising but most people wouldn't know Kleenex is the mighty Kimberly Clark
I would like to see the Yanks be taken back a peg. At 51% you can brand as "Australian Owned"
Since 1952 Sorbent has been in Australia "the softest tissue you can issue" Interestingly Sorbent once owned the space as "Australian" albeit that then they were no more Australian than Kleenex.
On another note was pleased at the recent "buy in". thought it may have been associated with the "buy back" that is yet to happen.
