if so, of course you can.

I personally prefer using horizontal support and resistance lines,
however David Weis (probably the foremost world authority on Wyckoff analysis), uses channels all the time (along with horizontal lines), particularly as an aid to judge 'oversold', and 'overbought' as price moves.
