It will be a relief to hear BOS has dealt with the protein deposition problem on the lens. It is taking some time so I guess it is a decent challenge. I hope it can be conquered, like the lens wetability problem earlier. I guess we can only wait and wish them the best.
I am noticing a lot of researchers getting into the biofilm business. With some making claims of success. BOS still seems to be more advanced in development than the competition, but it still hinges on having a compound that works.
