Massive volume moved today, 2.844 million shares traded. Majority seemed to be around the $0.73 to $0.74 mark. Yet the buy-side shown in Commsec Market depth never exceeded 700,000 at any one time and sell side never went over 300,000. Also orders around the $0.73 to $0.74 mark were all less than 50,000. Can someone please explain to me how such large volumes could have been traded then? By bots? By on the floor brokers?
And why? Is Crescent or some fund or big player secretly trying to increase their holding? Is someone playing this stock?
