"8.5.7 Takane Nickel Prospect

This prospect lies within a regional scale synform on the south eastern margin of the Magogaphate Shear Zone. A basinal structure of amphibolite is present that has a north easterly trend as mapped by the GS of Botswana. Previous exploration has been carried out on the prospect by BCL and INSA, including an INPUT EM survey, a magnetic survey and three drill holes. One percussion drill hole completed by Roan Selection Trust Exploration (later BCL) intersected 1.2 meters of 0.64% Ni.

Additional shallow drill intersections and trench results ranged from 0.23% Ni and 0.08% Cu to 0.32% Ni and 0.23% Cu. The INSA drill holes did not intersect significant mineralization. Exploration by Falconbridge has traced the 1 meter wide gossan over 425m on the western margin of a serpentinite/pyroxenite body. Gossan samples have been analyzed and interpreted by Clutha MHB to lie in the nickel gossan field of Clema and Stevens-Hoare. The high gold-PGE values also indicate their nickel sulfide gossan origin.

The gossan did not provide an airborne GEOTEM® or an EM response however detailed deeper penetrating ground EM is warranted to assist in drill hole targeting. Costeaning is required to assist in drill hole design by providing additional structural data."
